the number of schools children were large enough in Surakarta. It was a big market potential for various companies and traders to sell their products. One product that many schools children be enthused were food products. This research has paper chromatography method for comparing the RF value and color of the sample with a standard dye rhodamine B. Results showed that there was 1 of 10 samples using rhodamine B as a colorant for food.
